Harvest
A free, renewable resource made from the crushed fibers and stalks of Wheat that remains after being harvested for agricultural uses. The leftover canes are usually treated as waste and burnt after harvesting the wheat grains. Moreover, the usual removal process of burning the wheat straw “waste” contributes to pollution, while creating a public safety hazard. Wheat is fast growing, making it a readily available, renewable material.
We purchase Wheat Straw from the farmers, which also contributes to the economic growth of their community.
